Work we've done

  • Building one of the most influential Women in property.

Client: The Urban Development Institute of Australia.

The property sector is fast-moving, constantly changing and characterised by the success stories of strong individuals and leading companies. With this dynamic industry as a backdrop, we have helped build the profile of young female CEO, Danni Addison.

  • From e&s trading to e&s #trending.

    Client: e&s.

Finding the editorial angle in trends and the company’s products, we helped position Joint Managing Director Rob Sinclair as an expert in kitchen, bathroom and laundry appliances and trends.

  • Taking property to the top of The Block.

    Client: WBP Group

As architects of the company’s PR strategy, we have built the profile of the Executive Chairman, Greville Pabst and WBP Group. Our strategy was to align Greville’s profile with the group’s brands and services, and educate the public on the role WBP play in helping people make informed property decisions.

  • Lifting the ceiling for start-up success.

    Client: The Room Xchange

In an era of disruption, the crowded market of start-ups demands a novel approach. So we deemed that this farsighted start-up offering users rent-free accommodation in exchange for chipping in around the home needed a PR strategy with equal vision.

  • Securing the future of critical brain research.

    Client: Robert Connors Dawes Foundation

A charity with the aim to combat brain cancer – the number one cancer killer of children, asked us to lend our big hearts and brains.

As our pro-bono client, our task was to generate media coverage for the Robert Connor Dawes foundation and this disease in order to support lifesaving work such as Aim Brain Project – an initiative to bring world-leading tumour research to young Australians.

  • Ensuring Australia is sold on Hodges Real Estate.

    Client: Hodges Real Estate

With so many companies continuing to muscle in on the property sector, it pays to recognise that one of your strongest arms can be PR. As the preferred partner of national firm Hodges Real Estate, we secured Hodges the coveted role of agent for The Block contestants Carleen and Dan in 2016.

Greville Pabst - CEO and Executive Chairman of WBP Group

Honi crafted a plan to utilise my existing profile to build the company's profile. It was a great plan. The media we achieved in the last 12 months has been phenomenal and has put our company on a trajectory that has since led to a successful first capital raise. I believe the media achieved played a significant role in establishing the value within our company and the needs it will be fulfilling on a social and economic level in Australia and beyond.

Question time : 5 questions to tell all

    • Q1: Do you have a guiding philosophy? Please explain.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Read the first two chapters. Never judge anyone – you don’t know what battle they are fighting (or whether they just really need a big hug).

    • Q2: Do you have a pet name? We’re not talking about your dog or cat.

      “Waxy”

    • Q3: What is your favourite place in the world?

Anywhere near the ocean, I love watching the waves (and sometimes my husband catching one or two) and the smell of the salty air.

    • Q4: What's your greatest life achievement? (Besides landing a job here).

Having many strong relationships with childhood friends and calling my brothers my best mates.

    • Q5: You’re a PR MacGyver. Have any other skills?

      Mad parallel parking skillz, yo.

    Kendall Munns

Head of Public Relations and Project Styling.

Kendall is one of our true all-rounders. She boasts a degree in journalism, experience in government, not-for-profit, tourism, worked at London Zoo, and headed up the communications team at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Kendall and her partner own a successful sustainable furniture business – Ingrain, which is where her passion for interiors and property comes from.

Question time : 5 questions to tell all

    • Q1: Do you have a guiding philosophy?

It’s not who you know, it’s not what you know, it’s what you believe in and are willing to throw yourself into. This is something I once heard Corrine Wilkie, band manager of The Cat Empire, say and it really resonated with me.

    • Q2: Do you have a pet name? We’re not talking about your dog or cat.

“Kenny” or “Munnsy”. We’re an imaginative lot!

    • Q3: What is your favourite place in the world?

Anywhere near the ocean. I just love it. It’s an escape from city life and reminds me of being on holidays.

    • Q4: What’s your greatest life achievement? (Besides landing a job here).

A pretty big one was moving to London, basing myself there, and buying a beat-up campervan and travelling around like a nomad for three months.

    • Q5: You’re a PR MacGyver. Have any other skills?

I recently took up boxing. I’m not ready for an amateur fight anytime soon but my technique is pretty good. Ka-pow!
